Salzburgring

GT/Racing/proto and Formula

The Salzburgring circuit is located east of Salzburg in Austria. It opened in 1968. Elongated in shape and situated in a narrow Alpine valley, it has a fairly simple layout with two long straights, a fast corner called the Fahrerlagerkurve (Paddock Curve) at the bottom, and the tight Nockstein-Kehre corner at the top. Despite its straightforward configuration, the circuit has a formidable reputation for high speeds on the straights and the Fahrerlagerkurve. The circuit hosts car races (ADAC, Procar Series, DPM, DTC, STW, etc.), motorcycle races (Superbike, MotoGP from 1971 to 1994, etc.), and historic races (Oldtimer Grand Prix and the Rupert Hollaus Memorial).

Two groups (one GT/prototype group and one single-seater group) with seven 30-minute sessions (3.5 hours of track time per group per day).
