Circuit Paul Ricard Le Castellet

Designated First Center of Excellence by the FIA Institute for Safety in Motor Sports in 2005, approved by the FIA in 2006. The circuit reopened its doors to the public in 2009 and now hosts racing events (F1, FIA GT, F3, Le Mans Series, etc …) and motorcycle (Bol d’Or).
The track is characterized by its long Mistral straight (1.8 km, 1.1 mi) and elongated track design. The track is also unusual in that it is built on a plateau: it is very flat. In 1986 the track was modified to shorten the circuit, by adding shortcut through to the middle of the Mistral Straight.
The track is known for its distinctive black and blue run-off areas known as the Blue Zone. The runoff surface consists of a mixture of asphalt and tungsten, used instead of gravel traps, as common at other circuits
It is located in the Var department near the towns of Signes and Castellet, between Toulon and Marseille in the South of France
2 groups (a GT/proto group and a single-seater group) with 7 sessions of 30 minutes (3:30 hours of driving per group).
